These terms cover this website and our standard payment terms. They do not replace your signed agreement.

If IDN manages your IT, your service commitments — response times, coverage, pricing, warranty, everything that matters — live in the agreement you signed. Nothing on this website changes that agreement, and nothing on this website creates one. If the two ever disagree, your signed agreement wins.

Using the site

Acceptable use

Use this site for its purpose: learning what IDN does, and getting in touch.

Do not use it to break the law, to interfere with the site or its security, to scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others, or to access anything you have not been given access to. We may restrict access if you do.

What we publish, and what it means

Information on this site

We work to keep this site accurate and current. We do not promise it is free of errors or always up to date.

Nothing on this site is professional advice. Our articles, checklists, and assessments describe what we see across the businesses we support in Racine and SE Wisconsin. They are not IT, security, legal, or compliance advice for your specific situation, and you should not act on them as if they were. Talk to us — or to your own advisor — before making a decision that depends on it.

Service descriptions on this site are summaries. The definitive description of any service is in the agreement that covers it.

Prices, quotes, and offers

Nothing here is a binding quote

Any pricing, package, or plan shown on this site is illustrative. It is not an offer, and it does not bind IDN.

A binding price exists only in a written quote or agreement signed by IDN. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Hardware pricing and availability move with our suppliers, and a quote may be re-issued if either changes before you sign.

Warranty terms on hardware IDN sells are stated in your quote and agreement.

Paying for project work

Payment terms

These terms apply to project and installation work — cabling, hardware, camera and access control systems, and similar one-time jobs. Managed IT services bill differently: monthly by ACH auto-draft on the 1st, under the terms in your service agreement.

Before we order: payment in full for all equipment, plus 50% of the installation. The remaining balance is due on or before the day the job is completed.

Accounts not paid by the net due date carry a monthly service charge of 1½% or the maximum permitted by law, whichever is less.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Card payments add a 3.5% processing fee to the total amount due.

Documentation and access to installed hardware and software are released when payment is complete — not before. That includes credentials, configuration records, and administrative access.

Your signed quote or agreement governs. Where it states different payment terms, those terms control.

What you send us

Forms and submissions

When you complete a contact form, request an assessment, or email us, you are asking us to get in touch. That is all it creates — a conversation, not an engagement.

Do not send confidential information, credentials, or personal data about other people through the website forms. They are not a secure channel. If you need to send us something sensitive, call (262) 995-1190 and we will give you a secure way to do it.

Our content

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, images, layout, graphics — and the IDN name and logo are owned by IDN or used with permission. They are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may read, print, and share pages for your own business use. You may not republish, resell, or present our content as your own, and you may not use the IDN name or logo without our written permission.

Third-party names and logos on this site belong to their owners and appear only to identify products and partnerships.

This site links to other websites and uses third-party tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your information. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Availability

The site itself

We do not guarantee this website is available without interruption. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

Website availability has nothing to do with your service SLA. If IDN manages your IT, your response and resolution commitments are in your agreement and are unaffected by anything here.

Limits

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Wisconsin law allows, IDN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

This section limits our liability for the website. It does not limit, waive, or alter any obligation IDN owes you under a signed service agreement, and it does not exclude anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one posted here, with its date at the top. Material changes to a client’s service terms are handled through the service agreement — not by editing this page.

Where disputes are handled

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes about this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Racine County, Wisconsin.
